2300 & 2400 Series,
Nickel-Plated
The 2300 Series are for applications where brass surfaces are not acceptable; Electroless nickel plated inside and outside, with all other internal components of stainless steel. Contains a fully-formed rubber poppet molded on a stainless stem, designed to open easily and be more durable than O-rings. Being flexible, they cannot leak. Sizes and specifications are the same as the corresponding No.300 check valves. pH Factor of 4.6; Working pressure 200 lbs., maximum temperature 225°F. Cracking pressure 1-2 lbs., with alternative tensions available.
The 2400 Series are for applications where brass surfaces are not acceptable; Electroless nickel plated inside and outside, with all other internal components of stainless steel. The 2400 contains an all stainless steel poppet, same as found in the standard No. 400, for a metal-to-metal seal. Often used for food and beverage applications, biodiesel and steam. pH Factor of 4.6; Working pressure 200 lbs., 75 lbs. steam. Maximum temperature 300°F. Cracking pressure 1-2 lbs., with alternative tensions available.
Our No.F2400 valves feature lead-free material, certified by NSF, to contain ≤0.25% lead. Sizes and specifications are the same as the corresponding No. 2400 check valve. |
