Strataflo foot valves insure perfect operation of the pump and save many times their cost in service. They are manufactured from a one piece cast brass body. The unique strainer consists of a helically wound stainless steel spring wire which is durable and cannot corrode. This strainer is self-cleaning, because pump operation causes continuous motion of the spring coil. The taper-type silicone-treated poppets hold tight without seepage, yet open easily and operate noiselessly. They are tough, flexible rubber reinforced with a metal insert. There are no springs, low flow restriction and loss of head. Working pressure 200 lbs. Maximum temperature of 225°F.
No. 200: Buna-S Rubber Poppet for General Purpose Applications
The No. 200 contains a silicone treated Buna-S rubber poppet, designed to open easily and be more durable than O-rings. Being flexible, they cannot leak. Used as an all purpose foot valve for multiple applications, including cold water, ethylene and glycol.
No. 201: Stainless Steel Poppet for General Purpose Applications
The No. 201 is equipped with a stainless steel poppet, ruggedly constructed and suitable for a wide variety of applications, including hot water, cold water, steam, oil, gas, compounds and chemicals. Maximum temperature of 300° F.
No. 275: Buna-N Rubber Poppet for Gas and Oil Applications
The Buna-N rubber poppet is molded to a stainless steel stem, with all other internal parts also made of stainless steel. Used for gasoline and oil applications, including gasoline, hydraulic fluids, diesel fuel, alcohol, kerosene, and mineral oil.
No. 285: EPD Rubber Poppet for Chemical and Detergent Applications
An EPD poppet is attached to a stainless steel stem, with all other internal parts also made of stainless steel. Used for chemical and detergent applications, also including animal and vegetable oils, brake fluid, ketones, ozone & oxidizing chemicals, ammonia, and salt water.
A Viton poppet is attached to a stainless steel stem, with all other internal parts also made of stainless steel. Used for higher temperature applications, providing excellent resistance to fuels and chemicals. Maximum operating temperature of 300°F. Not for steam use.
Similar in construction to the No. 200, however this 1 1/4" valve is designed to enter a 2" pipe. Used as an all purpose foot valve for multiple applications, including cold water, ethylene and glycol.
Our No.F200 valves feature lead free NSF-certified material, containing ≤ 0.25% lead. Sizes and specifications are the same as the corresponding No. 200 check valve.
